Israel: Largest Hoard of Gold Coins Ever Found in the Country

Almost 2,000 gold coins, each about a thousand years old, were found by a group of divers at Caesarea National Park. The pieces from the Fatimid period (11c) have different denominations, sizes and weights - basically dinar, half dinar and quarter dinar coins.
