I suspect that this is a Persian civic copper.  If I'm wrong, then it belongs in this board. If I'm right, I'll move it to the appropriate place.  Does anyone have an idea? It is an Elephant's trunk, right?
The coin weighs 7.5 grams.

Oesho

It's a fish-tail, instead of an elephant's trunk. Most probably a civic copper from Persia or Afghanistan, but sofar I haven't been able to locate it.

Thanks Oesho.
So much for my elephant!
As for fish,
that would make Persia the more likely place, wouldn't it?  The Fallus from Khoy, KM A26 of AH1193, at least has the same animal as this coin.
And if I ignore the moose, the sturgeon fish on Km 97 from Tabaristan looks similar (18th century catalog).
So many civic coppers and so few in the standard catalogs.
