The animals I would not like to see on a coin:

  • ant (too late), especially red ant
  • wasp
  • mosquito
  • jellyfish

In fact, I do not want to see them anywhere, least of all as uninvited guests to a picnic.

Are tax inspectors animals?

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

This thread is on coins, Christian. Those things are way beyond the Pale.

That buzzard would be an instant hit, replacing the standard eagle on US coins, Willy. The ultra right would see red, crying "plot" and the normals would be blue with laughter.

Yes, one appears on a collector coin of that pseudo-country, San Marino.

Long may they populate your pants!

Handsome designs, Aditya, though I restrict my collection to standard circulation pieces these days.

Those coins are intended for circulation (issued for face value) but I'm not sure if they really circulate or not (may be a case like British £5 coins)..

Yes, they can all be had at face. Keep in mind though that the specifications are quite different from those of the regular 2zl coins ...

Awesome coins Aditya !

Coins images tempted me to think repeatedly about the  designer  of these coins what a skillful work . He has included even a minute details on these  coins.

Cheers ;D
