Nice coin,  8)  note the tiger or Lion on the r/hand image, I have the same type but mine is badly struck off centre

Agreed. Nice and sharp. A bit puzzled to see the date on both sides. Any idea why it was so important?

I read that abut a century later the "market coppers" were valid for one year only and constantly being re-struck or overstruck. Could that have something to do with it? Then I again, I don't think Afghan minters were terrible concerned about getting the date on the coin...
