It looks like at least the surface is silver, but there are no guarantees.

Medal is now identified: "Sir Rowland Hill" issue, 2002, silver plated Cu-Ni host and gold plated inset. Issue price 34.90.

OK results from Mal are in ...

Hello Andrew,

I cut all those names up into little strips of paper then tossed them in the air, then picked them up and shuffled them and then read them off as :

    Prosit 7

    Miner 3

    Spabreda 6

    Bart 5

    eurocoin 4

    augsburger 2

    Afrasi 1

Mal.

Peters results also in -
Could you allocate these numbers to another number please -

Order of prizes
1 - no. 6
2 - no. 1
3 - no. 3
4 - no. 5
5 - no. 2
6 - no. 4
7 - no. 7

I hope that's random enough.

Who's Bitmat I wonder?!? ;) :D

Strictly speaking, I don't have any clue about the answers. Absolutely no clue! I messaged him two guesses, both half correct (I believe) so I don't even deserve the consolation prize as Andy has promised...

Aditya

PS: In case there are 3+ (or rather 4+) winners, I'd be happy to send a prize for the 4th/5th winner; just like last year. We can have the draw as we had in 2013/2014... :)

Just a thought - Why not run your own competition another month ?

What they said ... ;)  No matter whether I am able find only one answer, or all ten, the puzzle sure is a lot of fun. Congratulations to all the winners!

Just a thought - Why not run your own competition another month ?

Two reasons:

1. I'm lazy. >:(

2. I think competitions like this need lot of creativity which I lack. Finding suitable coins with the decided numismatic terminology needs lot of hard work and patience...
