Islamic and Georgian Coins
« on: December 01, 2014, 05:07:21 PM »
I treated myself to an early Christmas present and bought two seminal books.  This will definitely aid me in my attributions:

Steve Albums' Checklist of Islamic Coins, 3rd Edition

Kirk Bennett's A Catalog of Georgian Coins, 1st Edition

A gallery of my coins can been seen at FORVM Ancient Coins

Congratulations, QG. I was well aware of Album's check list, but Bennet's book is new to me. If its contents are as good as the coin on the cover, they'll leave me agape. What a prize peace! I hope you'll find the time to do a little description of both books here.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.
