The history of money, according to Künker

The German newspaper "Die Welt" started a new series of articles (in German) about coins and numismatics last week. Quite interesting, although for "the rest of us" there won't be that much new information in the texts. The two authors are Fritz Rudolf Künker and Sebastian Steinbach, both from Künker (coin dealer and auction house) in Osnabrück.

These two texts are about the history of money. The first one covers the "earlier" years (Stone Age to Charlemagne, so to say); today's article is about the time between the Middle Ages and today. Sure, pretty brief, but I still find it great that such a series appears, every week, in a major newspaper. Seems it will be continued, then focusing on aspects of collecting coins.
