Islamic gold medal
« on: November 11, 2014, 02:05:25 PM »
From our member Lansenkil, who is asking for id and background. Material is gold. I have asked for size/weight.

The hamsa design says North Africa and the Middle East (hand of Fatima). The fine details and border say it's modern. My first guess would be jewellery from the Lebanon area.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.
