Never heard about Rani Gaidinliu earlier.

Although I don't have any disregards towards these less known freedom fighters, political leaders, Gurus and Saints etc, but why can not we have coins on more known personalities who are known nationally? Or rather why cannot we have coins on some more important events, monuments etc. In my opinion, a coin issued on the India's Mission to MARS would have been a much better choice. There are many countries which have issued coin on Taj Mahal. It is really shameful that India has not issued any coin on the Taj Mahal till date.

Rani Gaidinliu was born in Manipur, but most likely the Nagaland leadership will be present for this event.
