unknown currency japan/china

Hello,

I found this 'thing' in a lot of asian coins i bought recently but have no idea what it is.
Lenght: 35mm, weight: 24.65 grams

Same stamp twice, one upside down in relation to the other. Characters look Chinese to me, but the Japanese and Koreans use Chinese characters also.

It could be a Chinese 50 fen weight...

Yes, two times the Japanese "God of Plenty"-design. Looks not very original ...

It seems to be imitating a piece of Japanese 'chogin', but the stamps don't resemble anything in Hartill's 'Early Japanese Coins'.
