Interesting. I have never noticed the different sizes before, but apparently it's official ...

@ Christian,
But for the royal coat of arms only. The national coat of arms appears to have three crowns of equal size.

The horse is just great, Frizio. It's original, charming and yet respectful of te country and its culture. Will you come up with a proposal for the 10 and the 50 as well? My suggestion: the sailing ship Wasa. which is recovered and can be seen in Stckholm and an animal head of a Drakkar.

That's a really good one, Frizio! No need to hide it from us. I think the one with the sword is a bit busy (and besides, no sword without a shield), but the venerable chain in combination with the elegant lines is a feat to behold, I'd say.

Well, you wouldn't go wrong with a counterpoint to the folk art horse and all the heraldic stuff. Other things emblematic for Sweden are forestry, copper mining and the Ericsson mobile phone. Does that give you inspiration?

By the time Sweden changes over to the euro, cellphones will probably be museum exhibits. ;D  The designs for the "copper" and "brass" coins are good. On actual euro and cent coins the flag would probably not reach out into the ring, but these are fantasy designs, so ...

Don't know, don't care. :) What Sweden does, in terms of currency, is Sweden's business. But that should not keep you from designing such great pieces. As you say yourself, many of them are fantasy designs, at least for the time being ...

It is not impossible, but it is unlikely, as Sweden wants to put the issue to a popular vote and Swedes share the British characteristic of hating their allies. ::)
