Madras silver star pagoda??

The madras presidency GOLD star pagoda is very famous..it has Vishnu on obverse and star on reverse and weighing about 3.4 grams

Has any one seen a SILVER star pagoda.....

From what I know, that variety exists only in gold.

I came across a silver pagoda. Clearly seems like a fake. It seems to be cast, as i can see the seam in the edges. But i still got it because the figure looked adorable!!!

The weight is ~1.9 grams.. Really puzzles me why would somebody try to copy such a well known gold coin in silver.. May be to be used as temple token?

Probably to do some gold coating and pass it off as original?

Yea.. Makes sense..guess the guy could not wait for some money and got it to the market without coating being completed.. Going to be a unique item in my collection ..a rare find for me..Because never come across such a coin in silver..
