2 dinero of Philip V of Spain for Mallorca
« on: July 26, 2014, 09:47:42 AM »
Anyone recognise this gentleman?
Spanish?

I think the text reads "IPPVS" (Phillip?) and "MATOR I"

5 is a dobler or 2 dinero of Philip V of Spain for Mallorca. I think 6 is similar, for an earlier king, though all the ones I can find seem to have the symbols below the arms of the cross not above.

Best wishes
