Well, you know that motto "There can be only one." 8)

After the final, there was even an initiative that asked for a special coin on that occasion. Italy and Spain for example have been flexible enough to issue similar pieces. But in a country where coin issue schedules are made years in advance, that is apparently impossible. Grmpf.

The design is fine, except for that poor bird at the bottom, hehe. The German federal eagle looks to the right, but that is a heraldic term - from the POV of somebody who looks at a coin, it looks to the left. And while the eagle comes in several types/varieties, this one is too wide in my opinion ...
