Italy: 100 lire 1982, km96.1, incrusted ring

Hi,

I wanted to put this coin into my doubles, but stopped because of the "incrusted" ring on both sides of the coin, so now it's in collection of variants.

Hard to explain. My best guess is that the die was slightly too small for the flan...
