Eritrea, $1, 1994.  Dhow and camel.

This was the standard obverse design on Eritrean collector coins, before the country issued its first independent coinage in 1997.

Malta, 10 cents, 1972.   Eighteenth century barge of the Grand Master.

This barge has similarities to a dhow, and coincidentally, the Maltese language developed from a version of Arabic.
