Fiji, 10 dollars, 2001.

Endeavour was a barque (not a barge) commanded by Cook, who claimed New Zealand for Great Britain in 1769. AFAIK, she didn't reach Fiji.

Fiji, 10 dollars, 2001.

Providence was a 6th rate barque, commanded on Bligh's second voyage, in which he did see Fiji.

Sweden, 2 kronor, 1938.

A joint US-Swedish issue, commemorating a group of Swedes who settled in Delaware. The area was eventually taken by the Dutch, who lost it to the English, who in turn lost it to the settlers. The ship was the Kalmar Nyckel, a 17th century lightly armed pinnace. The rigging has been much simplified and the sails are not elongated enough, making the ship more symbolic than realistic.
