Bengal Presidency Rupee, contemporary copy in Copper

A really good copy of a Murshidabad Rupee, no trace of silvering so presumably never plated,slightly double struck in parts, straight milling

edge description already mentioned - straight milling, It's also 26mm, yours has a ring of dots round the rim which doesn't appear on originals of course, as to whether mine was originally an attempt at forgery with intent to silver plate rather than a jewellers copy I'm not sure as jewelers copies usually deviate from originals in some way
