Peter is saying that turn the right image (or the coin when it's in your hands) anticlockwise (by about 45 degrees) and you will see a counter mark which says 'STP' which could probably mean Saint Peter.

Definitely looks like punches. But don't see any impact of the punches on the other side of the coin.

Not seen a one Rupee of this series so a good find,  here's a lesser coin of the same series & date, a quarter Rupee in quite good condition except for some kind of edge knock it suffered at some time ( hopefully not in my Toffee tin)  :o

Another coin that's quite collectible. Unless you like the state the coin is in, this one could also benefit from a gentle soft eraser treatment...
