This token is a bit of an outlier. There are French air force tokens, but they date from the first world war, while this token is post second world war. The denomination is 5 US cents, not 5 francs. Orly was a military airfield until the US air force left. It was reconstructed to become the principal civilian airport of Paris for some time. That function is now taken by Charles-De-Gaulle airport.
