A coin from Israel featuring Jonah and the (hmm, in the) whale from 2011, a 10 new sheqalim gold piece, even won Krause's "Coin of the Year" award.

And ... do whale skeletons count too? :) If yes, look at this coin. That is a German 10 DM piece from 2001 featuring a fin whale skeleton. The coin honored the 50th anniversary of the Maritime Museum in Stralsund, and the 750th anniversary of the former monastery that houses the museum.
