Didier Vanoverbeek - From Arenberg to Zanzibar
« on: March 08, 2014, 02:03:26 PM »
The Royal Mint of Belgium has issued a very interesting book about the coinage of the Mint for foreign countries. Every foreign coin is discribed in this book, going from the konventionsthaler of 1754, struck for the duchy of Arenberg until the 10 euro 2013, commemorating Emmanuel Pinto for Malta.

I knew many of the foreign coins struck at the Brussels Mint, but was still surprised to notice some others, such as the 50 centimes 1939 for France with a special B-mintmark.

The book is written in Dutch, which can be a complication for people who don't know the language.
