Unfortunately this token doesn't give any clue as to where it came from although it is apparently still valid  :o
it's 29mm and weighs 10.75g

I have another that has been bothering me! Very similar obverse, rev. 1, brass, 25mm HM mintmark of Hoffman Mint, Fort Lauderdale, Florida .

Their stock token #T75 [obverse]

Same theme, but very different style. The US token has a natural horse, your token has a somewhat abstract horse; it doesn't have a US "look and feel". ;) It reminds me of Irish coins...
