The side on the right of your pictures is upside down (is the Kalima side). Will try to look into attribution shortly.
(But looks roughly post-reform Umayyad)

Looked a bit better.
The layout of the text seems the standard Umayyad type. That means that on your left pictures both the center and edge text are standard religious phrases.
The right picture has the kalima text (There's no God but God..) in the center. The minting place and year of issue are in the edge legend of this side.
The minting place is located (in this upside down position) above the last line of the centre text. The year of issue is on the left reading downward.
On the lower one the mint might be read as Al-Andalus ?  Alas, the combination of my minor knowledge of Arabic and not pristine strike of the coins does not make it possible for me to decipher these reliably.

Will try to take some more time later. (Unless one of our Arab speaking Gurus beats me to it)

I think you got it just right for the second coin, Anthony.

Cayón 473: Umayyad Dirhem (705-912 AD, 86-300 AH) Al-Andalus.

Peter, i knew you are a master of all trades. But now you also prove to excel in ancient Arab attributions !   :o :D

Hehehe, it helps if you have Cayón's catalogue of Spanish coins and a grand master who tells you where to look. It also helps that this type is well illustrated in Cayón. Couldn't find the other coin, but not all pictures in Cayón are so helpful.

The first one is dated 232 H (846 AD) so is an issue of Abd al-Rahman II, see http://andalustonegawa.50g.com/abdalrahmanII/232.jpg . It has been clipped: it should weigh about 2.4-2.5 gm. Vives 201, Miles 124e

The second one is dated 161 H (777 AD) so is an issue of Abd al-Rahman I, see http://andalustonegawa.50g.com/abdalrahmanI/161.jpg . Vives 59, Miles 52

The Tonegawa collection http://andalustonegawa.50g.com is a great resource for Iberian Islamic issues.
