Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to take part this year, as I'm not at home and have no coins, books or time to assist me in my research. But best of luck to those who do enter and thanks to Andrew for putting the competition together! FWIW nos 1 and 8 look the hardest to me...

I got it immediately when you said that. You shouldn't give hints - it's cheating! I always suspected you were a satanist.  >:(

As a punishment, Afrasi should be given the Antarctica board and have the Sub-Saharan African board taken off him.

Congratulations!

Dale

Many thanks Dale
I'm pleased as I don't collect any of these pieces.  But it was fun  ;D And the brick wall has now arrived.
Best of luck to all!
Always willing to trade.  See my profile for areas of interest.

1. Giving a hint I lower my own chance to get a prize.  ;)
2. Changing the boards would be a reward to me, as I never wanted to be a moderator.  8)
3. Isn't Antarctica a Sub-Saharan, too?  :-*

Actually it is # 2 that shows the letters. # 1 was a toughie for me.

So is Germany, if you just keep heading south.  ;)

I now have four sets of correct entries - still worth entering though as everyone will be entered into the draw to decide the prizes.

Quickest this year was one Mr Prosit - whom I think was as surprised as the rest of us :o

Surprised is putting it extremely mildly. In the past I don't think I ever got half.
But I have been steadily collecting over the last year or two and have just about destroyed a couple catalogs
from constant use.  Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks!

That and since I collect lucky coins/tokens/medals....I needed and used up all that luck too!  ;)

I've found 8, and still searching.
8 and 9 are really tough.
I'm sure the coins are now gone, but just for the fun of it.  ;)
Too bad I find this post too late.

===========================================
9 is done
left with 8
I already know the letter but there are so many countries starting with that letter.
===========================================
8 is settled. All done!

We will have a draw to decide who with the 10 correct answers gets the prizes,  so if you can find all 10 you still have a chance to win the prizes!

Thank you, the reasoning process is fun anyway ;D

There are now 4 prizes and four members with 10 correct answers. If there is another member who has 10 correct, I will enter another prize.

I must admit that I'm absolutely clueless this time. :'( #2 is indeed gives some clue but I'm still find a single entry. Lot of work to be done this weekend... ::)
