Imagine to my surprise to get an email from Mumbai Mint that my coins have been dispatched along with the speed post tracking number ...

Well I got the coins a week earlier, but a mail intimation is a welcome move from the mints.

You should have got it I believe, I booked in the first slot and got some months back.

till now i didn't got the coir board sets ..called mint .no response...mailed ..no response ..what to do now..some one guide me...booked on 30 june 2014 order no ORD231309..

For some strange reason the dispatch is still in process. I know someone who got few weeks back, last week of Feb. There are few others who haven't yet got.
From Coir Board onward the Mumbai mint also sends emails giving out the speed post tracking number. In my case the set arrived before the mail

It is frustrating on not receiving a response from Mint. Keep forwarding the same mail, changing the subject to "Reminder 1, Reminder 2 etc every week. After 5-6 reminder send out a stinker as to "Why deficiency of service should not be raised". You will get an answer the same day.

Also are you sure you booked on 30-June and not 30-July

Today I bought new coir board Diamond Jubilee Proof set from chennai dealer. Rs: 3400.
I was missed to book the coin and now i got it, feeling happy.

Are you sure its a Proof Set and not an UNC Set?
If Proof, you got it for a bargain, the mint issued this at Rs 3300 so paying just Rs 100 more after one year is a really good bargain

Yes Its a Proof Set, Mentioned in pack (right bottom corner), sure its not an UNC set  .
Bought it from Biju Philips, Chennai coin dealer (Hobby paradise, already mentioned his email/phone in our forum).
Already bought Telecomm (100 rs) and ONGC (50Rs) from him only with huge discount.
