Double dates - consecutive years

UK, 50 pence.  UK presidency of the EU, 1992-3, from the website of our member Tony Clayton: Coins of the UK. This coin circulated, and it was issued in both years.

Do you know of any other coins like this? Some older Spanish coins showed two years, where the year in the star was the production date, whilst the other year was the year of issue.

There was a rash of them at the turn of the century. The UK issued the Millennium £5 coin in both 1999 and 2000; on the reverse are both years, either side of the minute hand, and the actual date of issue (1999 or 2000) is on the obverse as usual. I think Guernsey did something similar with its Millennium £5 coin.

You're right - there were a few around the Millennium. Maybe from the Isle of Man too.
