I like the way you have placed the legends. The portrait seems fine to me, though I would prefer a head over the bust to get rid of the stuffy clothes. The vertical line is a good link to the previous series. I could have done without the heraldics, as it just crowds the design without adding anything. Moreover, the heraldics are incorrect. You show the arms of Holland, not of the Netherlands. Also, the Mint and Mintmaster sign need a reserved place.

All in all, a fun design. I hope you'll post more.

Okay, thanks for the feedback. I'll try to change the design.

I do want to post more fantasy designs, so keep looking in this category!

Thanks! I edited your post, i.e. added a slightly smaller version of your design image. (We have a size limit of 65K per image here.) One thing I would change is the fonts used for the country name: It is somewhat hard to see that "Groussherzogtum Lëtzebuerg" belong together.

Besides, as far as I know, the grand duke still insists on being depicted on every coin from LU. So instead of the monogram you would have to use his effigy ...

Here is the Dutch national arms. Concentrate on the blue shield. Note that the lion is crowned and carries a sword and a bundle of arrows and that there are blocks in the field. This is (apart from the colours, of course) what differentiates the Netherlands' arms from the Holland arms.
