Dear Girish,
Here is my attempt to enlarge your image.
I would have better results with an image with a larger file size.

Thanks Overlord. These indeed these coins are horseman type. Art is abstract and very impressive. Apologies for loading small pictures. Will load fresh new larger pictures.

Thanks
Mahesh

Mahesh,
I am curious about the first coin that you posted.  What is its size and weight?

Richie,

Diameter 17mm, Thickness 4mm and weight is about 9g. Could this be falus of Jaunpur Sultan?

Regards,
Mahesh

Perhaps you are right Mahesh, but I can not find a tanka (I suppose what looks like copper could concievably be billon?) or a double falus which matches with this one.  I think that I see the phrase "al-mu 'minin" on the obverse, a phrase used in coins of Jaunpur. But I must warn you that I can NOT read Persian or Arabic!  :(  I'll keep looking.

Oesho

Sultans of Dehli, Sikandar Shah Lodi (AH894-923/AD1488-1517), very common billon Tanka (of 80 rati), Mint (Hadrat Dehli) and date off flan. Ref.: Goron/Goenka D705.

Thanks so much Oesho.  I enjoyed trying to find it, but actually FINDING it is a bit better.  I did see the phrase in use by Sikandar Shah Lodi and passed it by.  I can see why.  The example in G & G is both in better shape than the one posted here and with a better die.
