Rev: King Hetoum I and Queen Zabel holding a cross together. Armenian legend around +ԿԱՐՈՂՈԹ - ՒՆՆ ԱՅ Ե - By the Will of God

The transcription of the legends should read:

"Hetown Tagawor Hayots" and "Karoghut'bn A(stoitso)y e"

At the reverse " By the will of God", the Armenian old word for God is abbreviated to the first and the last letter "ԱՅ" and the unusual long nose of the last letter,as it is written on the coin is a ligature for the missing letters in between. Abbreviation of all names of God to first and last letters is very common in Armenian.
