See the vertical ligns on the right? Even the bottom of the digit does not only touch the ring but goes (a little) into it.

Another euro coin with a transgression ;D design. These days such a design would not be possible (*) as the Stars of Europe are not arranged as on the flag.


(*) That applies to euro coins which can actually be used in the currency union, not to collector coins.
