D.B. is undoubtedly Dannisborg. However, I am wondering about the lines above the monogram. The headband of a crown, maybe?

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Correct.  It is indeed part of the crown.  See http://www.danskmoent.dk/trankebar/trankf3.htm (one of my favorite sites for Tranquebar related information.  I use google translate to convert to English).  It is classified as a Group 2 type crown.
