It stands for Dansk Asiatisk Compagni which was the re-branded name of the Dansk ěstindisk Kompagni or the Danish East India Company.

Picked up a small lot of these coins in outstanding condition.  These are scarce to rare coins that rarely come in this condition.  Furthermore, you don't bump into these that often (usually the case for most tranquebar coins):
