Japanese Invasion Money (J.I.M), Burma, Malaysia & Phillipines




Japanese Invasion Money, or JIM for short, was currency issued by the Japanese Military Authority as a replacement for local currency after the conquest of colonies and other states in World War II. The prefix identified the country viz B for Burma, M for Malaysia, P for Phillipines etc.
