KM is not getting better from edition to edition ...  ::)

Where do you keep all your old SCWC versions? I don't have room for both my collection, my doubles (classified and waiting for it) and all the old editions of all 5 catalogs... Up to now mine go into the recycling paper basket!!! I think my wife would blow a fuse, if I started to "collect" the catalogs as well :'(

I keep just the one.
The first edition I ever bought - issued in 1994.
When Krause "upgraded" the database a lot of stuff was lost, mainly notes pertaining to types but also some odd coins here and there so I kept the pre upgrade copy I had, more recent editions I sold to the local coin dealer a few weeks ago, I had six or seven and I got £10 for them - plus some new space to fill up :)
always willing to trade modern UK coins for modern coins from elsewhere....

A real idea, try to sell them .... I wonder if any Parisian coin shop will pay me the worth of the metro tickets to go there?

Anyway, those catalogs are just too big to keep!

andyg

That's a combined £10 not £10 each, I was just glad to get rid of them - I originally asked if he wanted them for free, but he insisted on £10 :)

There are not many shops like this ...  :o But as I have visited it last year, I believe you. :D
