Yemen, Quarter Riyal AH1342

Anyone know which type this is in Krause?

It can only be Y6.5, with 8 ornaments in the border, even though "Sana"is above the date. One ornament is worn away. Would be a nice plate coin for KM. Great find, andyg.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Afrasi

This is #6.3 with 10 crescents and stars at the obverse (right picture) and sana above date on the reverse (left picture).

Except that there is no Y 6.3, neither in the 16th edition of KM nor in Numismaster...

Nope... but there is one in my trusty old 1994 edition (which I should have looked in first),  I suspect some are missing from the newer books as the numbering sequence now goes 6.1, 6.2, 6.5, 6.6.

Thanks both another mystery solved :)
