USA: 2014 "ATB" Quarter Designs

In the "America The Beautiful" series of quarter dollar coins, there will be five new designs next year. They feature five national parks, in these states: Tennessee, Virginia, Utah, Colorado, Florida.

In November, the Commission of Fine Arts (CFA) discussed the designs and "picked" one for each quarter. A little later, the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee (CCAC) reviewed them. The CCAC members could give zero to three points for each design. The one with the most points would then be recommended, provided it reached more than 50 percent of the points.
