Your worst enemy is Humidity. I would store them in 2 X 2's and buy some Silica gel packets and put them in the boxes where you store your coins.
My goal for 2017 is to finish finish my British India copper collection (1/4 anna, 1/2 Pice and 1/12 anna) by year and Mintmark. Any help with missing coins in BU grades is highly appreciated.

Silica gel works very well, but requires maintenance. In due time, it will have absorbed all the moisture it can and become worthless or even counterproductive. To avoid that, from time to time, put some packages in your oven after it has been used for cooking. The remaining heat will vaporize moisture and the silica gel can be used again. Attention! Do this only with undamaged bags. Silica gel and food are a bad mix :(
