Amazingly I got a second England 2002 Commonwealth games version in change on Monday, along with the infamous one with a necklace!

Not previously!

The S numbers are technically Spink copyright, and I would
have to clear it with them.  For KM numbers I would have to buy Krause (and clear it with them too). 

The two main reasons are a lack of time, and the fact that if I start down that route where will it end?  ESC numbers? Peck? Freeman?

The types and dates are clearly indicated on the whole...

  The 1989 Claim of Right Tercentenary 2 Quid coin is far harder to find than the Bill of Rights Tercentenary 2 Quid coins.In fact,the former is as hard to find as the 1994 Bank of England Tercentenary 2 Quid coin,in my view

Did you know that the reverses of both those 2 pound coins were designed by the original illustrator of the Paddington Bear books, John Lobban? This was told to me by his widow, Avril Vaughan, herself a prolific coin designer (to mention just one of her designs, though not her best: the UK Queen Mother commemorative £5 of 2002).
