Jonathan is an English artist. He studied Art and Design at Oxford and Cherwell College, and he also holds a Master's Degree from Birmingham School of Jewellery.

For the Royal Mint, Jonathan designed two of the UK's 50 pence coins that were issued to celebrate the build-up to the London Olympics of 2012.

Jonathan also designed the reverse of the UK 2013 Coronation commemorative 5 ounce coin.

The coin has a face value of 10 pounds.

In the words of the Royal Mint:
