If your coin is 1909 it must be a proof or restrike from Calcutta mint, I do not see a business strike mentioned for 1909 1/4 rupees

strange my catalog shows it exists but the above coin doesnt look like its genuine

It doesn't look genuine to me either. The font looks OFF to me.

The King's effigy also looks wrong to me - my first instinct would be to call it a forgery before looking at any other detail.
