Kampuchea 5 sen 1979.jpg

Kampuchea, 5 sen, 1979.

I suspect this coin was issued after the fall of Pol Pot.

Kampuchea/Cambodia remained communist -  though in more orthodox fashion - after Vietnam's invasion to topple Pol Pot.

Cape Verde 10 escudos 1982.jpg

Cape Verde, 10 escudos, 1982.

A star, a gearwheel, a book, a wreath: this emblem certainly looks communistic.

On to Africa now.

There were/are no truly communist African states, though some adopted communistic emblems.
