I do plan to have a Coffee table book but not as a coin album ... but real book with almost every info on Indian coins ... the book is quite a bit ready ... but I don't have any publishers or Buyers yet !!!

So looks like when I retire, I will print a color copy of this book have it bound and keep it on my own Coffee table ;)

Dear SCM,

A coffee table book is a hardcover book that is intended to sit on a coffee table or similar surface in an area where guests sit and are entertained, thus inspiring conversation or alleviating boredom. They tend to be oversized and of heavy construction, since there is no pressing need for portability.

I think it's a nie idea for your guests. It often happens that my parents will talks to guests about my collection... However that meansi have to bring out something or the other. So I am eager to buy the thanjavur VIP set for the showcase. It'll just be easier to point the next time guests come knocking  ;D

Why don't you self publish it? I bet there will be enough people on the boards who would buy and make it worthwhile. I would really like to see the contents of this one.

I always thought a coffee table book was so large and heavy that you just added legs, and you have a coffee table.
