Sounds good, gentlemen. Given the distances in India, a meeting of four is not bad.

Peter

I just met Vivek... But you can assume a meeting of four using transitive reasoning I suppose  :P . Yes Distances indeed are quite vast and one particular member would have had to traverse the infinitely long distance of 1.2km between residence and fair ... Unfortunately the royal elephant was not ready in time  ;D... Not too worry, Vivek and I bitched and gossiped behind everyone's back ...Including yours  >:D >:D

Figleaf

Hey, I was a civil servant and subsequently worked in the financial sector for years. I am used to ugly things happening behind and to my back. :'(

Hi...

Interacting through Skype could shrink the distances, may be...these modern technologies are indeed useful...

Why worry about dead yesterdays and unborn tomorrows....live in the present...a present for you today...

Figleaf

Skype is infant technology, picture is often horrible and sound depends on available bandwidth, but yes, it is a great tool.

Hi Peter....

You may be right about Skype...I overlooked the fact that it is not as developed as it is in some countries....like it is in India....I interact with my son in US through Skype often...I use the broadband service provided by MTNL, a government of India undertaking (unlimited day time usage plan with a speed of 512 Kbps increasing to2 Mbps in the evening and night).......though a government undertaking the results, according to son, is good as comparable to US standards...the picture clarity and distortion less sound quality...even my reception here in Mumbai is also same....hence I assumed it will be same else where also....

Yep, they say that Skype adds a few pounds that what you really are...but don't fret Peter, I know you aren't all wide as that  ;D ;D ;D
The expo was ok, mostly about stamps (duh)... the one coming up in april is what most of us mark in our numismatic calendars. Hopefully by then, prices for quite a few CN and FSS commems will crash and i can stock up on doubles for swap purposes.
