Unexpected riches found in change

OK, not riches in the true sense as they're not worth any more than face, but you know what I mean...

I've been in the UK all of 3 days and have used coins* three times in that time, and one of those I tendered the precise money. The other two occasions have yielded a Mary Rose £2, two different Isle of Man 50 pences, a 2011 10 pence, 2012 5 pence, a new (to me) variety of forged £1 and a Norwegian krone.

That's more than I've taken out of circulation in Sweden in the whole last six months.

* Also went to the Charing Cross collectors' fair and spent some folding money -- got some interesting bits and pieces, including some transport tokens, which I'll post on here in due course.

Always good to be back in that decrepit parking garage at Charing Cross, even though the people there keep telling me that Birmingham has a better weekly market.

Looking forward to those transport tokens.
