humpybong

Can anyone give me any information on this coin.  I am told it is a coin from around 1780 and was part of the Proclamation coinage of Australia, but am not sure.  Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks

Quality coin, humpybong. This is KM 221, Craig 678a, a Bombay Rupee, struck around AD 1830 (AH 1215, regnal year 46 = 1753AD) in Calcutta in the name of Shah Alam. I don't know of any Australia connection. Maybe someone else does.
