1918 2 anna silver ????

Does anybody know if there has been a 2 anna Silver  made in 1918 ?

I am writing with somebody that has a silver 2 anna ( but i am not sure if he knows the differences between copper nickel and silver )

any help would be appreciated

easy way would be that the silver issues were round in shape. they were issued till 1917.

1918 onwards the shape became a diamond and no silver was used in them.
