I have this Medal at home was a gift from Coutts bank (not given to me) celebrating Queen Elizabeth II opening of the 440 Strand building in 1978.
I'm guessing its 1o/z of gold but not sure about its specifications (may not even be gold but its the Coutts bank not exactly cheapskates).
anyways if anyone can tell me anything about this Medal/Coin would be of great help.

Not a coin, but a medal.

Can't tell you anything about weight or metal. The monogram with date and three crowns is the Coutts logo. This medal was produced by the Pobjoy Mint, a notorious private producer of pseudo-coins, but well-placed to produce high-quality medals. The opening of the bank took place on 14th december by the queen (she banks with them). The medal was given to persons invited to the opening ceremony.
