Today I bought some Euro Cent Coins i.e. 1 euro cent, 2 euro cent & 5 euro cent. The observe is same for all the 1 euro cent but the reverse is different. I found such 8 different reverse of 1 euro cent. Same for the 2 euro cent (8 different varieties) & 5 euro cent (5 different reverse varieties).
Are these the general circulating issues or commemorative coins?
If anyone having the detail info about these euro cent coins, plz help. It will help me to collect more & more euro coins.
Regards-
Shekhar.

Basic information on the coins is here.

Design information is here:

Pictures of all designs are here.

They are not commemorative coins. The system is that the coins of the euro consist of a common side and a national side. There are two common sides (one for the 1, 2 and 5 eurocents) and (at the moment) 17 countries using the euro, but several countries have made slight changes on the national side. In addition, coins may or may not have different mintmarks and mintmaster marks. Furthermore, there are commemorative 2 euro coins, that can be common issues (all member countries use a similar national side) or purely national. Higher value coins are pseudo issues, though some can be had at face value, depending on national distribution policy.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

By the way, the European Commission has images of all euro and cent coins here. Choose a country from the list below the map; each coin image can be enlarged by clicking on the coin ...
