Please tell, where this piece was minted?

Were similar tokens in use on the front?
Or only in the rear, in France?

And what about its rarity and price...

A few remarks in English about the previous one would be interesting for those of us that don't read German or Polish.

Another similar Kantine token appeared here recently - somewhere. ...  Here.

Have a look at  my tokens and my banknotes.

The gist of the first link is that the legend on the obverse could stand for Kantine Heer Infanterie/Jäger Regiment 8 (motorisiert) - Army Canteen 8th Regiment Infantry/Riflemen (motorised). The reverse says "good for 1 schnaps", where schnaps is an alcoholic drink comparable to cognac and popular in the German army since times immemorial (like rum in the British navy.)

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Thanks that helps.   8)

...I knew about the schnaps part from my boyhood hero 'Biggles' who took advantage of the guards being occupied drinking their schnaps while going on his sorties.

Link added above to previous Kantine token.

Menzel lists tokens with "K.H. K/J.R.8" under Metz, but I notice this particular type isn't in the catalogue.  He does list one with GUT FÜR 1 LEERE FLASCHE on the reverse.

Dear friends,
what can be said about this one?

The KANTINE KURTZE one doesn't appear to be in Menzel at all.
